- Situated 14 kms away, Madammakulam or madams pond is interesting for its unique name, refreshing bath and the thrilling off road experience . It’s a waterfall that empties into a pond making it a natural tub amidst the canopy of trees. There is an interesting story behind the place name. During British Raj, a foreign lady by name Madam Robinson used to regularly come here to take bath with other ladies and hence got its name madamma kulam. The water is cool, clear and invigorating.
